    • Fix age setting (was shifting to the wrong value)

  • Simplified create and edit of need, event and story
  • Events have needs, not opportunities; needs contain the detailed opportunities
  • Improvements to volunteering experience for volunteers and organizers:
    • Simplified popup where one decides to volunteer including adding a note to pass along
    • Organizers get specific volunteering info including cancellations and notes from volunteer
    • Volunteer export for organizers has more information (e.g., notes, skills, dates)
    • Unvolunteer (cancel) prompts for a comment which goes to organizer
  • Pages for needs, events and stories show interests, skills and other things in red that match user’s preferences
  • Added a page for each organization which shows basic info and all needs, events and stories for that organization
  • Count of followers of an organization are shown on org pages
  • Count of users who shared or saved an item are shown on the page of that item
  • Local area entries show count of orgs in that area
  • Universal links now work for all platforms which means shared items directly open Kaleo if installed
  • Can suggest a new organization when searching for one; works like feedback
  • Refined various words and phrases; made performance improvements

Puyallup Beta 2 – v3.2.1

  • A notification is created for suggestions which include a match on causes or skills
  • Creating needs, events and stories now involves answering 2-3 questions to clarify what is being created (e.g., date-driven need .vs. ongoing need)
  • Users can set demographic and other meta preferences; needs, events and stories can be tagged with those same things
  • Needs with a date automatically expire; date-driven opportunities also expire at the due date
  • Opportunities and needs can be tagged as a favorite (star icon); when these are date-driven, they show up on the calendar feed (as do events which are so tagged)
  • Shared items which are outside of a user’s local areas can now be downloaded and any updates are tracked
  • Volunteering for a recurring item is now done one at a time with reminders for the next time(s)
